A true Christian must do four types of sacrifices for worship God in his life on earth!
First sacrifice is, “I appeal to you therefore, brethren, by
the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and
acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship” (Rom.12:1). True Christian
should keep a separation from evil and its works and should keep holiness in
body and acceptable the his/her body to God. This is a true sacrifice in the
world. Through this sacrifice the
follower of Lord Jesus can keep holy spirit in his body. This is very important
for all Christian. “Only let us hold
true to what we have attained” (Phil.3:16). This can be achieving only through
keeping the mind and body holy and acceptable to God. “For this is the will of
God, your sanctification: that you abstain from unchastity” (1Thes.4:3).
Second
sacrifice is, “I have received full
payment, and more; I am filled, having received from Epaphrodi'tus the gifts
you sent, a fragrant offering, a sacrifice acceptable and pleasing to God. And my God will supply every need of yours
according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus” (Phil.4:18,19). If God’s people give money or
other helps to other people who belongs to God is also counted a sacrifice! But
it is important that we must make sure that the person getting our help is not
belongs to devil. Helping devils and devils people is not a sacrifice! True God
is not taking glory from that sacrifice! We should ensure that the holy sprite is living in that person! If
we help a person who belongs to God , we will gets rewards from God! “Do you not know that you are God's temple
and that God's Spirit dwells in you? If anyone
destroys God's temple, God will destroy him. For God's temple is holy, and that
temple you are” (1Cor.3:16,17).
We should give our help to God’s temple (God’s house),
not to devil’s temple. “Bring the full tithes into the storehouse, that there
may be food in my house; and thereby put me to the test, says the LORD of
hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you
an overflowing blessing” (Mal.3:10). Those who helps devils and devils house,
gets rewards from hell that will spoil
every things and destroy
everlasting life!!! “Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for
such sacrifices are pleasing to God” (Heb.13:16). This is also called the
sacrifices of sharing.
Third
sacrifice is - “Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of
praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name”
(Heb.13:15). "Let everything that breathes praise the LORD! Praise the LORD!” (Ps.150:6). “My mouth is filled with
thy praise, and with thy glory all the day” (Ps.71:8). “Have no anxiety about
anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let
your requests be made known to God” (Phil.4:6). “For it is all for your sake,
so that as grace extends to more and more people it may increase thanksgiving,
to the glory of God” (2Cor.4:15).
We must praise
Lord our God with our lips, heart and mind. So we must say always praise the Lord Jesus Christ! Praise God holy spirit!
Praise God Jehovah! with our lips and mind! This sacrifice is must for all Christians during his/her life time on earth for escaping
from devils and its agents up to the
time of death! If you repeat this sacrifice for few minutes then you can
understand that the devil changes you’re your thoughts in order to block your worship I mean the sacrifice of
praises by saying Lords name! But if you
continue this sacrifice after defeating devil
you will gets God’s blessing and protection from devils! “But about
midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the
prisoners were listening to them, and
suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison
were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and every one's fetters
were unfastened” (Acts.16 :25,26). If somebody is praising God by singing not only he is releasing but
also his neighbors too!
Fourth sacrifice is – “But on some points I have
written to you very boldly by way of reminder, because of the grace given me by
God to be a minister of Christ Jesus to
the Gentiles in the priestly service of the gospel of God, so that the offering
of the Gentiles may be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit” (Rom.15:15,16).
“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's own
people, that you may declare the wonderful deeds of him who called you out of
darkness into his marvelous light”(1Pet.2:9). All Christians who are living
with holy spirit is called royal priests! Official duty of a priest is stand in
between the people who do not know God and
give offerings and sacrifice to God. So the Christians so called royal
priests should work I mean preach about Lord Jesus Christ in between the people
those who don’t know Lord. Thus royal priests can sacrifice their body a true
living sacrifice to God and offer the Gentiles body and sprite to God by
teaching them about true worship of God!
“He fulfils the desire of all who fear him, he also
hears their cry, and saves them” (Ps.145:19). “He provides food for those who
fear him; he is ever mindful of his covenant” (Ps.111:5). “As a father pities
his children, so the LORD pities those who fear him”(Ps.103:13). “The fear of
the LORD prolongs life, but the years of the wicked will be short”
(Prov.10:27).
Are we able to worship
Mighty Supreme God (Father God, Jehovah) without worshiping Lord and God
Jesus Christ?
“ In the
beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was
in the beginning with God; all things were made through him, and without him
was not anything made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the
light of men” (John.1:1-5). Christ was the word exist with Mighty father God in
the beginning! “ And again, when he brings the first-born into the world, he
says, "Let all God's angels worship him.”(Heb.1:6).Christ was not created
by Father God but He born from Him! So He is just like Father God! “I and the
Father are one.”(John.10:30). Jesus said to him, "Have I been with you so
long, and yet you do not know me, Philip? He who has seen me has seen the
Father; how can you say, `Show us the Father'?”(John.14:9). “They are
Israelites, and to them belong the sonship, the glory, the covenants, the
giving of the law, the worship, and the promises; to them belong the
patriarchs, and of their race, according to the flesh, is the Christ. God who
is over all be blessed for ever. Amen” (Rom.9:4,5). "For in him the whole
fulness of deity dwells bodily, and you have come to fulness of life in him,
who is the head of all rule and authority” “who, though he was in the form of
God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied
himself, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men” (Phil.2:6,7),
(Col.2:9,10).
“The Father judges no one, but has given all
judgment to the Son, that all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father.
He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him”
(John.5:22,23). We are worshiping Father God Jehovah so we have to worship Lord
Jesus Christ too. “And behold, Jesus met them and said, "Hail!" And
they came up and took hold of his feet and worshiped him” (Matt.28:9). “Now the
eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed
them. And when they saw him they worshiped him; but some doubted”(
Matt.28:16,17). Some people doubted to worship our Lord Jesus Christ, but we can
worship Him without any doubt!
“Then I looked, and I heard around the throne and the
living creatures and the elders the voice of many angels, numbering myriads of
myriads and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice, "Worthy is the
Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor
and glory and blessing!" And I
heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea,
and all therein, saying, "To him who sits upon the throne and to the Lamb
be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!" And the four
living creatures said, "Amen!" and the elders fell down and
worshiped.”(Rev.5:11-14). “Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel and his
Redeemer, the LORD of hosts: "I am the first and I am the last; besides me
there is no god. Who is like me? Let him
proclaim it, let him declare and set it forth before me. Who has announced from
of old the things to come? Let them tell us what is yet to be”( Isa.44:6,7).
